“I was born and raised in the Holland/Zeeland area, and I absolutely love West Michigan. After college, I began my working career while continuing to live at home with my parents. I had not been looking forward to the process of purchasing a home due to the current housing market in our area. I wrestled back and forth on the decision whether to rent or buy. I knew that I would prefer to purchase a home and build some financial equity for myself, however, I did not think I would have the opportunity to purchase a home in the Holland area.
Communicating with Steve on Jubilee’s mission to serve the community by providing affordable housing came to me at just the right time. A home is likely the largest purchase that someone will make throughout their life, and it has been something that I spent a lot of time thinking and praying about. It is difficult to express how thankful I am to be living in the Holland area. I am thrilled to continue my professional career while living in a place where I truly see myself living long term. This would not have been possible without the mission of Jubilee, and for that I am so thankful!”
